The Best Staff

All staff are required, to have a background in Early Childhood Education through college certification and/or experience.  All staff  required to complete 6 hours of Early Childhood training each school year.  All staff members are required to maintain current infant, child and adult First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.  All staff members are required to have a signed doctor’s health report that states they are free from any disease or disability which would prevent them from working with children.

All staff members undergo extensive criminal background checks through the Virginia State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Virginia Department of Social Services certifying that they have no criminal record.

All programs (Infant-Fours) operate with two staff members present in the classroom at all times, a Lead Teacher and an Assistant.  Our staff encourages active learning where our students make choices so that they can explore, play, and problem solve.  Activities are considered for the children’s enjoyment, interest, control, probability of success, and feelings of competence and self-confidence.
